Rapper Khaligraph Jones has expressed displeasure in the manner with Switch TV, treated his AFRIMA win.

Infuriated Papa Jones took to social media to blast the TV station, after it posed a question to its viewers on whether the Yego hit maker deserved the win or not.

In his post, Khali noted that the station was trying to play low-key to his win, instead of dedicating a whole show to celebrate his victory.

“Snitch TV Kenya is trying to disrespect the OG, y’all should dedicate a whole show to celebrate this damn victory instead y’all trying to low-key hate on this Win, iyo ni swali Gani munauliza watu sasa? Mbona Sioni kama Mnauliza if Kipchoge deserved his win pia? We can’t help it, We are just winning cause we are good, Kwendeni Uko mbali pia nyinyi. The Switch TV quiz that angered the Award-winning start reads “Rapper @khaligraph_jones has been awarded Best Male Artist in East Africa in the 2019 AFRIMA Awards. Do you think he deserves it?”

Over the weekend, Khaligraph Jones, Nikita Kering and Sauti Sol represented Kenya well at the 6th edition of AFRIMA Awards in Nigeria.

Mr Omollo was named as the Best male artiste in Eastern Africa.

17 year old Nikita Kering won two awards; Best female in Eastern Africa and Revelation of the African continent.

Sauti sol won the album of the year through ‘Afrikan Sauce’ and The best African Duo/Group/ Band with their hit song Extravaganza featuring Nviiri the storytreller, Kaskazini, Crystal Asige and Bensoul.
