The Link bus crashed near Kikorongo, about 21KM from the western district of Kasese.

At least 18 people have been injured and no persons died, according to the preliminary report from Uganda Police.

Injured passengers are receiving treatment from Kagando and Kilembe hospitals in Kasese.

Police authorities also say the bus driver is on the run as authorities continue to investigate cause of accident.
