How to check 2023 UACE results on phone

The Education Minister Janet Museveni and the Uganda National Examination Board (UNEB) have released the 2023 UACE results from the State House, Nakasero.

You can use your mobile phone to access 2023 UCE results

This is the second set of exams to be released by the authorities this year.

The examination body announced that students will be able to access the results by SMS on their phones or via the Internet.

You can get the 2023 UACE Results for any candidate in a few simple steps.

In your message box, type UACE <space> INDEX NUMBER and send it to 6600.

For example, to check the results of the candidate with index number 654321/001, in your message box, type UACE 654321/001 AND SEND TO 6600.

You will receive an SMS for Shs500 per candidate.

For School administrations, UNEB officials explained that results will be uploaded on the examination center portals to enable schools to download the results as they are officially released.

Unveiling 2023 UACE results, the Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) Executive Director Dan Odongosaid that a total of 110,553 candidates registered for the 2023 UACE examination from 2,102 centres compared to 97,890 candidates from 1,969 centres in 2022. This is an increase of 12,663 candidates (12.9%).

Of these, 47,226 (42.7%) were females and 63,339 (57.3%) were males. Candidates who appeared for the examination were 109,488, compared to 96,557 in 2022, an increase of 12,931 candidates (13.4%).

Of these, 46,860 (42.8%) were females and 62,628 (57.2%) were males. At this level, according to the 2023 UACE results, the number of female candidates has consistently been much lower than that of the males.
