Steve Jean used to donate me free clothes when I started music- Jose Chameleone

Singer Jose Chameleone has opened up on the deep friendship he shared with Fenon events proprietor Steve Jean, at the genesis of his career.

Chameleone opened up on the pair's friendship while addressing his pre-concert press conference at Fenon Events' company premises.

According to Chameleone, Steve Jean was one of the very first artistes that came before him, and he is grateful to him because he gave him a chance, to become the star he is today.

Chameleone further reveals that Steve Jean was an artiste before joining events and production.

He however notes that Jean ran away from music after Chameleone's music had overwhelmed him.

According to Chameleone, Steve Jean would leave the United States with music, and when time came for him to go back, he would offer Chameleone some fancy tracksuits.

Chameleone further added that it is such friendships that make up the gist of his February 10th show that he has dubbed "Gwanga Mujje".

According to the self proclaimed musical doctor, the concert is aimed at uniting the circles of the people with whom he has been while chasing his music career and dreams.

According to Chameleone, it is Steve Jean that knows where he has been and where he is headed with his career.

Chameleone is arguably one of the most seasoned Ugandan artistes, plying his trade across decades, churning out hit after hit.

He is slated to stage a mega concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval to flex his worth yet again on the 10th of February, in a fiesta that has been dubbed, "Gwanga Mujje".
