He even washed his car to get a chance to work with him. And it paid off, as Chameleone produced Radio's first song titled Jennifer.
"I wake up in the morning, then I used to drive a [Toyota] Surf, and I find it washed in a way I had never seen. And I asked who washed my car? [And they told me it's Radio who had washed it]. Then he used to call himself Mowzey Kinti [from his name Moses Nakintije Ssekibogo] and I liked him. The next time he came, he brought a portrait of me he had drawn using a pen. He gifted it to me. He was so good. I also draw but Radio was really good," Chameleone said in a video seen by this reporter.
"And I told him, let's enter the studio, and I produced his song Jennifer... and that's how the relationship started."
Talent manager Geoffrey Chagga, better known as Chagga, has said that he is the one who introduced Radio to the Leone Island Music Empire founder. Chagga used to be the manager of GoodLyfe, where Radio sang with Chameleone's brother Douglas Mayanja, better known as Weasel Manizo.
Meanwhile, Chameleone said the song by GoodLyfe he enjoys most is Obudde.
"The song of Radio and Weasel I enjoy most... there is that song you enjoy listening to, and there is that you enjoy because it's educative and fun to listen to... I love the song titled Obude; time. I don't know how they sat down and thought about singing about time because in this world, whatever you see is about time... time is the master of all things," Chameloene said.
The song was produced by Bushingtone, real name George Kagoda.
