Ms Kimbugwe, better known among her peers as Pheri Kim, passed away on Wednesday morning, succumbing to cerebral cancer.
The deceased was highly revered in the Ugandan entertainment and public relations business.
She is remembered among others for having greatly supported Omulangira Ssuna’s music career, both morally and financially.
After their separation, Kim started dating and eventually held a big introduction ceremony for US-based Ugandan Abdu Lubwama who is serving in the US army.
Before her passing on Wednesday, Kim put out a will in which she specified how her funeral should be conducted.
She demanded a simple send-off that should not be dramatised with printed t-shirts, calendars, and the likes.
“Please do not allow anyone carrying or wearing any of the above into the burial premises. Surely anyone who has come to bury me but doesn't know what I look like is there for other reasons,” he will read in part.
Kim also had a specific request for people who should be allowed to take photographs at her funeral. These include Nation Media and Vision Group photojournalists Edgar Batte and Josephat Seguya.
Seguya, while eulogising the deceased on his Olugambo talk show on Thursday, described her as a very hard-working and principled woman that would be greatly missed in the industry.
