Zari slid into Diamond Platnumz DMs

One day, ahead of her all-white party, she thought about hiring Diamond Platnumz to headline the annual party.

She slid into his DMs.

"There's a time I DM'd him and I wanted him to come to my white party and he said, no, speak to my manager," said Hassan, who also goes by Zari. At the time she had broken up with Ivan Ssemwanga.

Zari told Crystal Newman that she spoke to Platnumz's manager and they started researching about her. Good thing for her, tabloids had been writing several stories about her after splitting with Ssemwanga who had sired three kids with her.

After looking at the stories, Diamond Platnumz picked interest in her. Then one day they met on a flight and exchanged numbers. "The chemistry was amazing," said Zari who revealed that they couldn't stop talking to each other.

Their relationship gave them two kids -- Latifah Dangote, aka Tifah (daughter), and Prince Nillan (son). They broke up after Zari learnt that Platnumz was dating Tanzanian singer and actress Hamisa Mobetto. Platinumz and Mobetto have a son named Dylan Abdul Naseeb.

Despite splitting, the two have remained close and they were recently filmed holding hands, a move that prompted Zari's husband, Shakib Lutaaya, to also share an old video in which he was in a loved-up mood with DJ Alisha. He later deleted the video but Zari maintained hers.

They have since been exchanging stinging messages without mentioning names. Rumours are now swirling that they broke up. Zari had been praising him for being the first man to put a ring on it.
