Spice Diana says that in most of the awards where she is nominated, despite her hard work and consistency, they don’t award her and instead award people that reach the organisers interests, she has vowed to imprison all local awards hosts that will go on nominating her.
The genesis of this rant from her are the just concluded Janzi Awards, Spice Diana didn’t win an award from these awards despite her claim of working harder than most of the people that emerged winners. Spice was nominated in six categories but lost in each.
This sparked off a number of furious rants on her social media where she also came out and bashed the awards branding them “fake and useless”, and add nothing like value to the music industry.
In an interview with vlogger and comedian Allan Cruz of the Cruz Xclusive channel, Spice Diana warned awards organisers not nominate her if they are convinced she doesn’t deserve a win.

Spice says the only local awards she has won in Uganda are the Zzina Awards which she won last year and the previous year 2019. She adds that these wins hurt so many organisers up to now.
“Whoever nominates me in their awards again, I will drag you to prison, that’s the truth.” said Diana.
She adds that she will not allow her brand to be used by such awards organizers who are looking at making business out of them rather than building the industry.
According to her, she has been for long been quiet about such kind of awards and its high time she acted and spoke about the reality that they don't build the industry in anyway but rather business ventures for most of the organizers,
She stated that she will not allow her brand to be used by these awards which are just businesses for the organisers.
