According to Ichuli, when he is poking holes in the entertainment industry, he normally takes aim at people whose work he admires. There's no ill motive, he said.
Social commentator Olaxess Ismail, aka Jajja Kalevu Ichuli, said that the criticism he aims at singer Sheebah Karungi is not personal, but the constructive kind.

"On a serious note, I like Sheebah a lot," he said, "and it's people that I like that I hit most."
Ichuli spoke out following an incident where Karungi, real name Samalie Njagala Karungi, chased him away from her house in Munyonyo, Kampala.
The songstress, who professionally goes by Sheebah, even recently pretended not to know him.
But, according to Kasuku (who interviewed her), she actually knew him but she was pretending because she doesn't like him.
Ichuli revealed that when Sheebah closed her gate on him, he went to the house of Spice Diana, her nemesis.
