In a statement, Sanyu said that they are awaiting advice from the Uganda National Cultural Centre (UNCC) and the National Cultural Forum (NCF) to figure out the way forward.
Uganda Musicians Association President Cinderella Sanyu told members that they've been in discussions with the leadership of the Uganda Musicians Federation (UNMF).

Sanyu, who professionally goes by Cindy, wrote:

The Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF) is led by Eddy Kenzo (president), who is Cindy's friend and Sheebah Karungi (first vice president), who is Cindy's nemesis.
