 Roberto Oliviera speaks out on Simba SC Dubai training camp ahead of Vipers CAF CL clash

Newly unveiled Simba Sports Club coach Roberto Oliviera has spoken out on the atmosphere at his new role.

The Tanzania giants are holding a training camp in Dubai till January 14th to get in shape in the January break. The NBC Premier League is slated to resume January 17th.

Speaking at the training camp, Roberto who is only beginning his task as coach of the club says he is delighted with the administration of the club for the initiative of the training camp in Dubai.

”We are preparing with a strong program for the future. We have eight days…in terms of the strategy. We shall have a few friendlies, it’s very important”.

When asked about the capacity of his players given his love for attacking football, the Brazillian coach was quick to note that he is only getting started on the job.

“I cannot talk much. I have just started my job”, he replied.

He noted that the attitude of the players is very positive and they have a great opportunity to form a formidable unit.

“It is nice (attitude)…not a problem. We have the opportunity to play full time, morning, afternoon. I like much of compactness in midfield and morning for example, change of players”.

“I trust so much in our capacity. I believe in our team”.

Simba SC are pooled with Vipers SC, Raja Casablanca and Horoya in the CAF Champions League.

Roberto will lead Simba SC against his former employers Vipers SC next month.
