The Russian Premier League club gave the Ugandan star a three-year-contract sealing a move from Kazakhstan side BIIK Shymkent.
According to reliable reports, the transfer fees for the Crested Cranes star is a record fee for any East African women’s player in recent times.
The 19-year-old has been captain of the U20 women’s national team and had been plying her trade with the Kazakhstan Women’s Championship side where she had a running two-year-contract.
She previously featured in the Women’s Premier League side, Kampala Queens FC.
She also captained the Ugandan team that finished second to Ethiopia in the 2021 CECAFA U-20 Women’s Championship where she was top scorer with 11 goals.
Najjemba, the 2021 Ugandan Female footballer of the year became the second Ugandan player to join the paid ranks in Kazakhstan after Fazila Ikwaput who played for Biik Kazygurt in 2018.
Juliet Nalukenge, another top Ugandan female player last August also signed for Cypriot First Division outfit Apollon Ladies Football Club in Cyprus.
