Photographer Saad Shots dies in road accident 

Renowned Ugandan photojournalist Saad Shots has passed away.

He reportedly perished in a motorbike accident on Friday evening.

The accident according to police, occurred in Entebbe at the Bugonga junction near the airbase.

Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson Luke Owoyesigire says Saad was involved in a head-on collision with another motorbike rider, who also lost his life.

Saad's friends on social media were left in disbelief following the disturbing news.

“I just called his number, and someone picked up and informed me that he passed away in an accident,” posted one of his friends, Alton.

Some of his followers were even more gutted by some of his last posts on social media, where he talked about the shortness of life.

“Quick reminder: Tomorrow can happen without you,” he wrote on Thursday.

Saad was renowned for his iconic photographic works, especially in sports, tourism and travel, which captivated many on social media.
