Pastor Alyosius Bujjingo has revealed plans to build churches in several regions across Uganda.
The controversial pastor, currently fundraising for a church called Pentagon, has yet to begin construction.
He made the announcement during an interview with Ibrah K. Mukasa on The Spotlight Show 256.
He shared an experience from Kakyeka, Mbarara, where a fellowship event had more attendees than the space could accommodate. He argued that more Pentagons should be built across the country to meet the demand.
Similar events in Mbale, Busoga, and Fort Portal also saw overcrowded venues, which further fuelled his vision of expanding church facilities.

This comes after Bujjingo faced public criticism regarding the delayed construction of Pentagon, a 35,000-seater church in Kampala. Recently, the pastor revealed that the Shs3 billion raised for the project so far was not enough to start the foundation.
This statement sparked concern, especially on social media, with many questioning his plans. Some even suggested he should build a temporary structure for his weekly services to protect congregants from harsh weather.
However, Pastor Bujjingo dismissed these suggestions, calling those advocating for a temporary shelter "political enemies" and "barking village dogs." He clarified that he had never claimed the funds were insufficient for the foundation. Instead, he explained that he was waiting for financial assurances to ensure the project’s completion.
Bujjingo added that the foundation for such a large-scale project would need to be extremely deep, making the space unsuitable for regular Sunday services. He encouraged his followers to continue contributing to the project and ignore outside criticism.
