The event was graced among others, by the Chairperson of the National Muslim Women Council under Uganda Muslim Supreme Council, Hajjat Sophia Kenyangi Safina.

Kulthum grateful

In her remarks, Safina thanks Dr Kulthum for organising the prayers in the Ramadhan month.

She also called on fellow message Muslim women to work hard to preserve their marriages no matter how many other women they are married with.

The Dua prayers for the late Muzaata came amid lingering rumours that Hajjat Kulthum and her current husband Eng. Acram Gumisiriza, are no longer together.

Acram is reported to be in the United States.

Kulthum however, has repeatedly dismissed these reports as baseless.
