Gombe village was rocked by terror as armed men descended on the home of Noah Mutwe, a loyal supporter of National Unity Platform (NUP) leader Bobi Wine.
“They came like thugs, travelling in a numberless double-cabin vehicle. They first picked Noah Mutwe's uncle and put him on handcuffs before ordering him to take them to comrade Noah Mutwe’s home in Gombe. They violently abducted him and took him away. His whereabouts are not known,” Wine posted on X, his voice a mix of fury and resolve.

This chilling incident echoes the recent abduction of Eddie Mutwe, Wine’s chief bodyguard, who was seized in Mukono, tortured, and later dumped in Masaka, as Wine reported.
The pattern of targeting NUP supporters is unmistakable. “They’re committing all these crimes against our people to instill fear in us and the entire population,” Wine declared, yet he remains defiant:
“But they’re giving us more reason to fight for a better country.”
