Mikie Wine, born Michael Mukwaya, in an interview this week commented on Alien Skin’s recent fallout with the Kamwokya establishment.
In July this year, Skin of the Fangone Forest fame picked a war with Bobi Wine’s fan base after he dismissed the Ghetto President as having added nothing significant to his rapid rise in music.
In a series of TikTok videos, Skin repeatedly bragged about having built his career independently without any help from Kamwokya.
Skin also refused to bow to pressure from Bobi Wine’s angry fans, insisting that Fangone Forest “is not a political platform.”
Commenting about these remarks, Mikie Wine said Skin was dishonest about not being helped by Kamwokya.
“If he says Dream studio has not helped him, he’s lying because I know I have personally helped him,” he said.
“I went and performed at his concert for free. Even Bobi Wine himself posted him on his social media….Do you know what it means to be posted by Bobi Wine?”
“Everyone can add something to someone, and besides, we don't work to be appreciated but we do the right thing.”
The ‘Namata’ singer also had a word of advice for Alien Skin.
“He needs to love people and be humble because people make us who we are, if he has been doing this he should keep it up. But if many people are complaining about his behaviour, then he needs to change.”
