The capital's biggest picnic returns by the lakeside of Jahazi Pier Munyonyo with a bigger and more fun parked edition dubbed ‘Reggae-Ragga Nyam Nyam.
The edition will host a plethora of activities for revellers looking to let loose accompanied by lots of meat roasting, feasting and lots of free meat up for grabs.
Revellers are set to be delighted in enjoyable roasting experiences, with gazetted roasting spaces hooked up with grills, fire and all roasting experiences.
Other entertainers enlisted for the party include Nutty Neithan, Rickman Manrick and many more surprise acts by the lakeside. Revellers will savour the entertainment while catching the sundowner moment as the sun sets over the Lake Victoria Horizon.
Revellers will be spoilt for picnic choices as they will have access to chill zones, a gaming park, a variety of DJs, and a pop-up marketplace to pick some merch, among other fun activities.
Revellers are advised to rock Reggae-themed coloured picnic outfits.
The family event will delight kids in a custom kid’s park with fun activities such as bouncing castles, face painting and lots of games.
The event's main act Madoxx Ssemanda Sematimba is a Ugandan roots reggae musician whose timeless ballads have earned him his legacy. Major songs on his discography include Namagembe, Tukolagane, Nakatudde and Wansonyi.
Madoxx is widely regarded as one of the best reggae musicians in Ugandan history.
