Davido, Rema Namakula, former Blu*3 band members and Lydia Jazmine will all hold concerts before the end of March.
The latest to be announced is Davido's Kampala concert dubbed Timeless which will be held on March 29.
The venue of the show, which is sponsored by Fenon Records, NTV Uganda and NRG Radio, is yet to be announced.
Cindy Sanyu, Jackie Chandiru and Lilian Mbabazi revealed they will hold a joint concert on Women's Day, March 8, 2024, at the Kampala Serena Hotel.
The development came after they performed together for the first time in many years on Thursday, December 14 at the Protea Hotel Kampala Skyz in Naguru, Kampala.
This show dubbed The Blu3 Reunion was sold out and Sanyu said it was an activation for their 2024 concert.
The trio sang some of their band songs and solo projects. From the Blu*3 days, they sang Strong Woman, Mutima Gwange, Nkwekumide, Nsanyuka Nawe, Kankyakyankye, Ndibera Nawe and Hitaji. For solo projects, Lilian Mbabazi belted out Dagala, Jackie Chandiru did Gold Digger and Cindy Sanyu (Selecta).
At the time of forming Blu*3, Sanyu was 17, Mbabazi, 19, and Jackie, 18.
The divas met during the Coca-Cola Pop Stars and after the competition, the trio, in 2005, teamed up to form Blu*3 under the management of Steve Jean, the legendary producer and owner of Fenon Records. They started breaking up after two years, with Cindy being the first to drop off.
Lydia Jazmine will hold her maiden concert on March 1, 2024, at Hotel Africana in Kampala. Ticket prices range from Shs20k to 2 million.
Rema Namakula will hold her concert on February 23, 2024, at the Sheraton Hotel in Kampala. The tickets range from 100k to 3 million.
B2C, alias Kampala Boys, will hold their concert on May 10, 2024. B2C, Davido and Blu*3 are yet to announce ticket prices.
