Meet the new influencers as Guinness Smooth rolls out new campaign

Guinness Smooth is bringing a fresh look and attitude to self-expression. In a press event on Tuesday, the brand revealed a bold new lineup of influencers who embody the disruptive energy of its revamped identity.

This marks the start of the ‘Make It Yours’ campaign, launching on Friday, March 21st, 2025. The campaign calls on the next generation to rethink their world and make it their own.

Elizabeth Mutamuliza, Head of Beer at Uganda Breweries Limited, highlighted the vision behind the rebranding, saying, “Guinness Smooth has always been about boldness and style, but now we’re taking it further with a fresh look and an exciting new campaign. It’s all about self-expression, making bold choices, and defining your own style.”

The newly unveiled collective features some of Uganda’s brightest talents. Among them is Azawi, a music and culture powerhouse known for her unique sound and bold personality.

Elijah Kitaka, a multi-talented artist, is pushing boundaries in Uganda’s music scene, while Troy Elimu, also known as Denim Cartel, is a fearless force in fashion and one of only two Africans collaborating on the campaign at a continental level.

Real Hommie, a rising star, is defining urban style, and Axon, a visionary music producer, is shaping Uganda’s music industry. Each of these influencers shared their excitement about joining the Guinness Smooth family.

Denim Cartel expressed, “Working with Guinness Smooth is a dream come true. I’m excited to showcase my creativity through fashion with this campaign.

Azawi added, “Guinness has always been part of my journey. This isn’t just an endorsement, it’s a celebration of boldness and authenticity.”

Elijah Kitaka commented, “Guinness Smooth represents everything I stand for—boldness, individuality, and freedom of expression.”

Real Hommie shared, “This is my first major brand endorsement, and it’s an honour to partner with Guinness Smooth.” Axon reflected, “I’m thrilled to bring my creativity to this official influencer role with Guinness.”

The launch event for the ‘Make It Yours’ campaign will take place at Next Media Park in Kampala, promising a high-energy celebration of culture and creativity.

Highlights of the event will include a fashion showcase by Denim Cartel, featuring a limited-edition collection inspired by the bold new Guinness Smooth identity.

Live performances from top Ugandan artists and DJs, along with immersive art installations and interactive experiences, will make this event a night to remember. As Guinness Smooth embarks on this exciting new chapter, the brand invites everyone to join the movement and embrace self-expression.
