Ugandan songstress Grace Nakimera has hinted at making a return to the music scene after several years of absence.
During a press conference yesterday, the former music sensation said she had an emotional reaction to Mesach Ssemakula’s recent comments calling for her comeback.
Ssemakula, who was speaking during a TikTok livestream, expressed how much the music industry misses Nakimera’s unique sound, adding that there was a "thirst" for her in the industry.

“I was touched hearing from our legend, Mesach Ssemakula, saying that the industry misses me. I went home and got emotional and prayed about it,” Nakimera said.
“Hopefully, soon enough, you will be hearing news from me.”
She further teased her audience, revealing that when the time is right, she would share news of her next move, which includes the release of new songs.

Ssemakula’s Support and Offer
Ssemakula also extended an offer to Nakimera during the livestream, suggesting that she could choose any song from his catalogue to re-record as part of her comeback.
Nakimera dominated the Ugandan music scene in the late 2000s and early 2010s with hits like Kiva Kuki, Kawonawo, Nkwagala Kufa, Onyambanga Mukama, Osobola and others.

However, she had to take a break from music due to personal struggles.
She previously revealed that she faced severe demonic attacks from suspected witchcraft, which led her to a decision to focus on her faith and ministry.

Since then, Nakimera turned to full-time church ministry and has been running her nonprofit, Feed The Streets Foundation.
