According to Blaq, the whole enterprise reeks of unprofessionalism.

Blaq, real name John Kasadha, wondered how Bebe Cool was elected the head of the finance committee yet he has no professional background in accounting.

"Did he study accounting or anything in that line?" wondered John Blaq during a media interview.

"Sometimes we need to choose people based on what they studied not because of who they are."

The Obubadi hitmaker said for such endeavours to succeed, professionalism has to be exhibited.

He said going by developments, he would have been named head of security.

He said most musicians are school dropouts with no professional pedigree so it's hard for them to commit and see through such a huge project.

"I don't see anything big about what they are doing because most of us are school dropouts... we need professionals," he said.

Leaders of the Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF) were elected on Friday, May 5.

The Federation’s leaders are Eddy Kenzo, who is the president, Shebah Karungi, the first vice president; Pallaso, the second vice president and Juliana Kanyomozi, the third vice president.

The Finance Committee is led by Bebe Cool, Research & Development: Daddy Andre, PR & Communications: Phina Masanyalaze, Special Interest groups: Moses Matovu, and Compliance & Regulation: Silver Kyagulanyi.

UNMF is a collaborative effort of musicians, industry stakeholders, and the Ugandan government, aimed at unifying the music industry in Uganda. The Federation brings together all associations in the industry under one umbrella, promoting growth, collaboration, and unity among musicians and stakeholders.
