Makula used to be part of Gagamel Crew, a music camp started by Cool.

One day he found her drinking at Steak Out Bar & Restaurant, which used to be a popular hangout in Wandegeya, Kampala between 2006 and 2010. Her baby was also around.

"It's Bebe Cool who made me reduce my alcohol intake. That's when I started respecting him. I was his fan. Just a fan... He found me drinking at Steak Out with my 3-year-old son. We had gone there for a Gagamel meeting," she told Cruz Xclusive in an interview.

"He asked me why I was drinking alcohol yet I'm a young woman."

According to Susan Makula, Bebe Cool told her that no man likes women who drink alcohol the way she was drinking.

He also quizzed her about why she was carrying her son with her to the bar. When she returned home, she hired someone to take care of him.

According to her, getting pregnant while still in school and having to take her of her young son in the absence of the baby daddy took a toll on her mental health hence the too much drinking.
