When Justice Elizabeth Musoke denied to provide a timeline for the hearing of the application submitted by Hams' attorney Fred Muwema, chaos ensued.

The judge said, "The head of the panel in the main matter informed me that the judgement is ready and it will be delivered on June 13, 2023."

Based on the aforementioned, Justice Musoke concurred with DTB attorneys led by Edwin Karugire that the application has already been surpassed by circumstances because during the panel's reconstitution both sides agreed that they agreed with everything that had been submitted.

"I would advise you to wait until the court's judgement (full panel decision) is ready," Musoke said.

Ham exited the courtroom in protest after hearing this, and as soon as he did, a number of irate individuals entered and pleaded with the judge to be fair because the outcome of this case affects many people if it is unfavourable.

"The applicant's actions should be remembered. As attorneys, we are not trained to enter a courtroom with thugs; we cannot be frightened by thugs,” Karugire stated.

However, attorney Muwema stated that as a member of the court, he would use every means at his disposal to meet with the chair of the panel hearing the main case in order to have the decision postponed so that a deadline could be set for this important application.

"Just because I didn't mention the application during our prior court appearance doesn't mean that I have given up on it. Even though our case may be weak, we must get our day in court,” Muwema said.

Speaking to journalists right after court, Ham expressed concern that the situation had become so serious that he was now afraid of what would happen to him as a result of the case.
