Arok's home is in Bunga, a Kampala suburb and the robbery occurred on the night of August 28. It was later discovered that Arok is a senior official in the South Sudanese government.

The case has dragged on for a while and Bata, who was previously romantically involved with Sipapa, wants musicians to step in to help the socialite once a pillar in the entertainment industry.

He also called upon Bob Wine who has previously had issues with Sipapa because of differences in political inclinations.

"Not everything that's said is true. A lot has been said about Bobi Wine, but I don't think everything they say about him is true," Bata said.

"Let's not demoralise people. Sipapa rose from the Ghetto. He has been an inspiration and working hard to support fellow youths from the Ghetto."

She went on with the charm offensive: "He was trying to show them that success is possible for everyone. Bobi Wine wants us to be one and unite for a cause."

She thanked Spice Diana and her manager Roger Lubega for the support they've shown so far.

Bata was under Sipapa's management and they also dated from 2014 until she left to work with Abitex.
