Security personnel surrounded her home on Wednesday morning, a day after police authorities revealed that she is part of the ongoing investigations over the assassination of President Museveni's ally, Ibrahim Abiriga.

She is wanted by the CID department of the police to record a statement.

Police authorities on Tuesday issued a statement alleging that she incited violence on social media hence violating the Computer Misuse Act. They also claim to have her recordings that are offensive in nature.

Nambooze has condemned the manner in which security officers raided her home saying they should have served her with summons.

Earlier, lawyers Erias Lukwago and Medard Segona camped at the CID headquarters in Kibuli waiting for the legislator.

Nambooze is among the four people whose general files o inquiry have been opened over Abiriga's murder.
