Three high schools were on Monday morning gutted by mysterious fires, as the arson incidences gain momentum in Kenyan schools.

The three schools – Kathera Boys in Meru, St Mary’s Girls’ School in Kakamega and Kandiege Mixed School in Homa Bay County - have been gutted this morning and the causes of the fires remain unknown.

Already emergency teams have been deployed to the three schools to put out the fire.
