"There are some high-ranking officers and one of them is Hon. Kibuule who also forcefully entered the land,” UCU Vice Chancellor Dr. Rev. John Ssenyonyi said.

Minister Ronald Kibuule allegedly grabbed the university land to construct his residential palace.

Dr. Rev. John Ssenyonyi asked Land Commission of Inquiry to intervene in claiming their land back because the university is in need to alternative ways to make money to facility its activities.

“This land was given for the benefit of this institution and we do realize that we are in need of finding alternative source of income," he said.

In February, Ministry of Lands revoked land titles which were fraudulently acquired by State Minister for Water Ronald Kibuule in Kigaya-Golomolo, Buikwe District, and directed all the persons in possession of cancelled certificate of titles to present them to the land registration.
