UMEME issues cautious message after concrete lighting pole crashed vehicles

The electricity body says it highly regrets the 'incident and urges the public to be vigilant at all times'.

The concrete electricity pole crashed three vehicles but there were no causalities reported.

UMEME deployed its team to disconnect the concrete street lighting police from the ‘network to ensure safety of persons’.

The accident happened after a truck came into contact with wires and dragged down a concrete pole hence crashing parked vehicles.
