Uganda secures all borders after an al-Shabaab attack in neighbouring Kenya
Police in Uganda say they have secured all border entries and exists after following an attack in Nairobi by al-Shabaab.
Authorities have urged people in Uganda to remain vigilant "in your places of work, worship, entertainment centres and shopping malls among others".
"In response to today's attack in our neighbouring Kenya, we have noted with concern that our people are living in fear and are equally concerned with what happened there," part of the statement reads.
At least 5 people have been reported dead after the militant group attacked a complex in Kenya's capital, Nairobi.

Elite police forces continue to comb the area to neutralise terrorists and evacuate people.
Kenya's Inspector of Police Boinnet said on Tuesday that many were injured following apparent suicide explosion at Secret Garden hotel.
He added that six out of the seven floors at Dusit hotel have been secured.
