The new outlet, located along Kitimbo Road, is expected to serve residents and businesses in Kamuli as well as neighbouring districts such as Buyende, Luuka and Kayunga. The move comes as the area continues to experience rapid growth and rising demand for quality construction materials.

The showroom stocks a range of the company’s roofing products, including Resincot, Covermax, Versatile, Orientile, Romantile and Lifestile stone-coated tiles. Company officials say the aim is to meet the needs of both cost-conscious households and homeowners seeking premium finishes.

Beyond sales, the facility will also act as a support centre for local builders, contractors and hardware dealers. It will offer technical guidance, product training and a steady supply of materials. Uganda Baati believes this will help improve building standards and support small businesses in the district.

Speaking at the launch, Patrick Katende, Head of Service Centres at Uganda Baati, said the showroom brings both products and expertise closer to customers. He said it will also strengthen after-sales support for fundis and contractors.

Kamuli Resident District Commissioner Rose Birungi welcomed the investment, saying it responds to the district’s growing construction needs. She added that the facility will create opportunities for skills development and business growth within the community.

The company says the new branch is part of its wider plan to expand across the country and ensure more Ugandans can access durable and affordable roofing solutions.
