This is what Chaka Chaka is doing in Uganda

Internationally recognised South African singer, songwriter, entrepreneur, humanitarian Yvonne Chaka Chaka is visiting Uganda for the second time since 2016.

The legendary African musician, who arrived in the country on Wednesday, will perform at a charity show on Friday aimed at raising funds to build a school for former street children.
She is popular for songs like Burning Up, Thank You, Mr Dj, I Cry For Freedom, Motherland and Umqombothi.
Proceeds from the charity show at Kampala Serena Hotel will also help support former street children who have been enrolled in different schools by Shule Foundations.

The foundation's director says these "former street children dream of getting an education and find good jobs".
The show will also be graced by celebrated musician, also Member of Parliament Bobi Wine and comedian Salvador Patrick Idring.
