A team of 69 athletes has returned in the country after successfully competing in the Commonwealth games in Gold Coast, Australia.

The team, which won a total of six medals, including three gold medals; was welcomed by Minister of Sports and Education Janet Museveni on Thursday at Entebbe International Airport.

Double-championship gold medalist Joshua Cheptegei led the team which is short by two athletes who vanished from the host country.
