Brian Isiko, 25, pleaded guilty to counts of cyber harassment and offensive communication before Buganda Road Court on Thursday.

Rwabogo told the court that she started receiving endless calls and "I love you so much" messages in November last year from Isiko.

She maintained that she thought "it was just a simple call from one of my constituents" but got worried when the student started making love confessions.

“I took up the matter with police at parliament which assigned a guard and advised me to set up an appointment to meet the stalker,” she said.

Arrest

The 25-year-old was arrested after the legislator set up a meeting at Java House in Lugogo.

Upon reaching the rendezvous and identifying himself to the MP, he was arrested by Rwabogo's security personnel.

Worry

Rwabogo said she worried for her life as she continued receiving messages from Isiko's phone even when he was in police custody.
