Over 200 players confirmed as giants set for PAU Grand Open Championship

Over 140 male and 64 female players will be present today as the PAU Grand open championship cues off today at the Cas Bar and Restaurant in Kansanga.

The male tournament will cue off with pre-qualifiers for the non-ranked players who registered late.

“All the top players from around the country and seven from Tanzania will be battling for the championship that rolls off the Pool Association of Uganda’s calendar,” Peter Kyobe, the PAU spokesperson said.

Rashida Muteesi and Kennedy Odong will attempt to defend the titles that they won last year but will face stiff competition from the top seeds who have registered.

In the male category, they include the best player in the country Ceasar Chandiga who missed the last edition while on duty in Zambia.
