Trouble started when Amina told Wangari that they had to end the interview because their time was up, but the granny could take none of it.

She went ahead to tell Amina that if she called her for an interview she and the whole country should listen to her and not tell her there was no time.

“Hio muda isiishe kama hio muda kama ulikuwa umeniita, unite usikize lakini usiniambie muda ikwishe ulikuwa unaniita kufanya nini, nikwambie usikize na Kenya mzima isikize si wewe pekeako. Na usikie kutoka dakika hii na ukisikia tutaelewana ukikosa kusikia hatutaelewana juu kitu iko kwa roho yangu kama haitoki mimi hakuna kitu inanisaidia,” said Wangari before the interview continued.

Ms. Cecilia Wangari became a darling to many when photos and videos of her repairing motor vehicle sound systems at the age of 80 years went viral after she was featured in a local daily.
