The Senior Press Secretary in the president's office revealed on Tuesday that "some slight revisions to the list issued over the weekend" have been made.

He appointed the late Aya William ad deputy RDC for Pader district. Earlier, Aluma Geoffrey who had been appointment RDC for Amudat district was reported as "deceased".

The LC5 chairperson of Moroto District was also appointed RDC Kaabong District.

The president also quoted irrelevant articles of the constitution that affect the appointment of the Vice President and his cabinet ministers.

The 73-year-old president has previously talked tough against RDCs saying they are becoming irrelevant and are not doing enough to implement government plans.

Update: Mr. Aluma has come out to clarify that he is alive -- unfortunately, he is not included in the new revised list of RDCs for being "unavailable" -- earlier, reports indicated that he is dead.
