Reports reaching Pulselive.co.ke indicate that Mbatha was found safe and sound in Machakos and was brought to Nairobi by the police on Friday night.

The 35-year-old journalist was last seen leaving his home in King’eero after work on August 6 and had not reported to his work place since then.

Mr. Mbatha’s last phone signal was last traced in Mombasa.

“ Thank you to everyone who posted his missing poster and reached out to his family and friends ,” said Capital FM in a tweet.
