Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititus wife, Susan Ndungu, has been arrested.

The Kiambu County First Lady was arrested, alongside 15 other people, for constructing illegal buildings in Nairobi.

She was arrested just a few days after Waititu opposed the demolition exercise in Nairobi.

Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko, whose officers were involved in the arrest, later ordered for Ms Ndung'u to be released.
