Sikolia made his debut at Citizen on Tuesday night after announcing his departure from NTV through his Twitter account.The reporter becomes the latest acquisition by the SK Macharia owned media house.Among other high profile names who have joined Royal Media Services (RMS) from NMG include Linus Kaikai, Victoria Rubadiri, and Jamila Mohamed.

The mass exodus at Nation began after the controversial airing of the mock swearing-in of NASA leader Raila Odinga.Kaikai was among the first people to leave the media house before Larry Madowo followed in his footsteps and joined BBC as the Business Editor for Africa.
