Lilian Rukundo has been convicted after pleading guilty to charges of broadcasting pornographic material and computer misuse.
The 23-year-old student of Uganda Christian University appeared before Buganda Road Court on Monday and charged with 10 counts of broadcasting pornographic material.
State prosecutors allege that the student filmed herself with an aim of sexually arousing social media users where the pornographic content appeared.
Rukundo has been remanded to Luzira Maximum Prison until Friday, July 13th, when her sentence will be served

The 23-year-old student had earlier denied publishing her video masturbating.
She told police during interrogation that "boyfriend must have leaked her nudes since their relationship has been on the rocks".
The pornographic material went viral after a Facebook blogger, who is under detention over broadcasting pornographic material and computer misuse, published the film on his platform
