Bobi Wine handed over the bike to Rozio Kihura amid fanfare at the NUP offices in Kavule, Kampala.
The youngster smiled ear to ear as he received the bodaboda along with its plates and a helmet.
Rozio won Bobi Wine’s heart and that of many on social media after he was filmed chasing after the NUP leaders’ car to fist-bump him.
This was during Bobi Wine’s national consultation rally in the Isingiro district last week.
On social media, Rozio earned him the nickname “Nsi,” a reference to Bobi Wine’s former schoolmate who was famous for his running and hunting abilities.
Bobi Wine tracked down the Insigiro fan and brought him to Kampala.
He intended to show him to the media at a press conference early this week, but Police rounded off the party offices, foiling the event.
He instead hosted him at his home in Magere.
Taking to social media, the NUP President praised Rozio’s support for his political movement.
"Rozio exemplifies millions of young Ugandans who were never concerned with politics until the #PeoplePower Movement emerged,” he said.
