Sometime back Mathias Walukagga released a love ballad inspired by the said songstress and eponymously named it Oli Kasana Rema Namakula.
Part of the ballad, goes: "I'm lucky to be with you... who am I?... Rema Namakula... You are sunshine... it's been a war and I won thanks to brainpower because you had many admirers... you can imagine what our kids will look like... the rest, sorry, find your mates... I've gone with this beauty."
One day, Namakula, better known as Rema, was interviewed by Victoria Namutebi on Urban TV and she wanted answers.
Namutebi: "So, another rumour, what was going on between you and Walukagga?"
Rema: "Oh please, [waving left index finger while shaking head side to side with a scornful face], that's not my type."
Namutebi: "Uh-huh, what's your type?"
Rema: "That's not my type."
Namutebi: "So, what's your type?"
Rema: "You know my type!"
Namutebi: "Eddy Kenzo, BET Award winner; I know."
Rema: "The other one, is not my type. With due respect, by the way, cause he is a respectable person, he has a family, and I'm not trying to diss him or anything, but he. Is. Not. My. Type."
Namutebi: "Okay! Chris Evans [Kaweesi]?"
Rema: "Chris, ho, ho, ho my God [both laughing]... bambi Chris..."
Namutebi: "It's your fans who say it!"
Rema: "Please, stop that contempt."
[Both Laughing]
Namutebi: "Eh, so, you are saying it's despising you when the say you are with Chris Evans?"
Rema: "...No, no, Chris, with due respect, you are my brother; I appreciate your talent, I believe in you, and I like you, you are my brother, but please..."
Namutebi: "The list is long, there is David Lutalo."
Rema: "Are you for real?... Eh."
Namutebi: "I'm sorry... this one, rest in peace, but there is also Danz Kumapeesa."
Rema: "Bambi... he was a little boy, let him rest in peace, he was young. Danz was young; he couldn't even look into someone's eyes for like 15 minutes... you can't deal with shy guys.”
Speaking of types, the only publicly known romantic partners of Rema have been her baby daddies Eddy Kenzo and Dr. Hamza Ssebunya.
