Kay's initial post read: "Confidence is sooo attractive. Whenever you send a message and delete it, you lose confidence points. Stop!😒"
Netizens are roasting retired Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIGP) Asan Kasingye for a bizarre comment he made in response to Martha Kay's post on X.

Kasingye responded: "Even when you post your nudes accidentally? Be serious."
The comment, which has since been deleted, went viral on social media after screenshots of it appeared on various platforms.
At 11:16 PM on August 6, Asan Kasingye announced that he would be taking a month's break from X.
"My post in response to @MarthaKayug was innocent banter. It was not intended to insinuate anything," he said.
"Having realised the impact, I deleted it and will not make any post on this platform for a month wef from tonight the 7th of Aug. I apologise for the inconvenience it has caused."
Martha Kay, whose real name is Martha Kemigisha Kagimba, has been a victim of revenge porn, so Kasingye's comment, particularly from a senior law enforcement officer, did not sit well with netizens.
Misheline Mutuzo observed: "You are doing innocent banter using a situation that almost broke someone’s life????🤦🏽♀️😭🙌🏾"
Joy Turamuhawe responded to Mutuzo: "I think it was honestly blown out of context. I think he meant, 'What if you mistakenly send nudes to someone? Isn’t it okay to delete them?' But people thought he was jabbing at her given past circumstances. It was just the right comment on the wrong post. 😔"
This is not the first time Asan Kasingye has taken a break from social media due to a controversial post.
