Kasuku says Sheilah Gashumba earns his 4-month paycheck in 1 month

Kasuku, who met Gashumba during his birthday celebrations, said that he found out that she was earning in one day what people in the gig economy like him were collecting after some four months of work.

"In just one day [she makes what] most of us make... in four months," said the controversial YouTuber who was explaining to Ruth Kalibbala Bwanuka how positioning yourself right and valuing yourself can help you make a huge chunk of change in the gig economy.

According to the host of the Talk and Talk Show, Sheilah Gashumba showed him a receipt where she had been paid Shs20 million for hosting just one night at a bar.

"There's a way she's built her audience and she knows her value," said Kasuku, who added that she's dealing with planned kids who are modeling their lifestyles on her.

Kasuku, a seasoned journalist, who has worked with Star TV, Red Pepper, Daily Monitor, KFM, Spark TV, and Dembe FM, is one of the most influential media personalities in the entertainment industry, with one of the most viewed YouTube channels in the country.

Over the years, he has landed gigs to promote brands in different sectors, including, among others, banking, manufacturing, and hospitality, so he was speaking from experience.

According to him, Sheilah Gashumba had genuine reasons for quitting full-time media work because she was making enough money through her gigs.
