Retired AIGP Asan Kasingye goes public over threats from Kira Road DPC 

Kasingye, who retired from the Police in 2022, took to social media to make the accusations against the DPC.

Former Uganda Police spokesperson and Chief Political Commissar, AIGP Asan Kasigye, had an outburst on Friday over what he described as threats from the Kira Road DPC, Boniface Kinyera.

Kasingye, who retired from the Police in 2022, took to social media to make the accusations against the DPC.

He claimed the DPC had been threatening senior staff members of his security company named Tayari Security Services 

“DPC Kira Road. The threats you tell my Tayari Supervisors, tell them to me directly,” Kasingye charged.

Going public

Kasigye had yet to go into detail about the nature of the misunderstandings with the police commander.

He, however, indicated that he had officially filed the complaint with the police leadership and that they were aware of it “in black and white.

Kasingye launched the private security firm shortly after leaving the police force in 2022.

He describes the company as “professional and robust” and its staff as being “trained and managed by the best.”
