David Lewis Rubongoya, the Secretary General of the National Unity Platform (NUP), has shared pictures following the raid of their headquarters.

"Situation at the @NUP_Ug Headquarters. In anticipation of our Solidarity Gathering for comrade @eddie_mutwe, the military and police raided, entered our offices, and ordered all people to vacate the place! A combination of fear, impunity, panic and criminality," he posted on X.

The Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba responded to National Unity Platform (NUP) President Robert Kyagulanyi, known as Bobi Wine, following a raid on their party’s headquarters by Special Command Forces (SFC).
