Parliament marked the third anniversary of the passing of former Speaker of Parliament, Rt Hon. Jacob Oulanyah, with heartfelt tributes and remembrance.

The Parliament of Uganda shared a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday, March 19, commemorating the life and legacy of the late leader.

“It is exactly three years since the passing on of the former Speaker, Rt Hon. Jacob Oulanyah,” the Parliament’s post read.

“Today, we celebrate a great leader, gentleman, father and mentor to many. May his soul continue resting in peace. #WeRememberOJ.”
