President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has appointed Arthur Mugyenyi as the new Director General of the Internal Security Organisation (ISO).
Mugyenyi takes over from the late Brigadier General Charles Oluka, who passed away on January 29, 2025.
Previously serving as a Director at ISO, Mugyenyi had been in charge of Internal Security in Mbarara District.
In a statement released by State House on Tuesday afternoon, it was also announced that Tony Kinyera Apecu will become the new Deputy Director General of ISO.
