Participants ranged from graphic designers to photographers and cinematographers, each presenting a portfolio that showcased a distinct mix of talent, creativity, and aspiration.

The Maad McCann team meticulously reviewed each entry, dispensing honest feedback and constructive critique. The goal of these Portfolio Reviews is to deliver practical advice to emerging creatives, bridging the educational gap with real-world industry expectations. They embrace the "iron sharpens iron" philosophy, offering a vital platform for young talent to acquire insights that will mold their creative path.

Peter Kazibwe, the Creative Director, noted, “Maad McCann recognized the need to nurture the next generation of Creatives, and has for 5 seasons now invited hopefuls to submit their portfolios for review,” emphasizing that the process is as much about fostering talent as it is about evaluating work. The agency, he revealed, has even recruited talent discovered in these sessions to work on its client roster.

This year's challenge required participants to present their portfolios, detailing their educational and professional experiences, their passion projects, and the reasoning behind their creative choices. They were evaluated based on presentation abilities, quality of work, and portfolio design.
